21 Weeks After

 I am happy to share with you some of my tasks and activities 21 weeks after my last post here…

First thing I did when writing this post was to read my previous one, and I was just amazed. Amazed by how much things can change in such a short period of time.

In January I participated in the 64th IVSA Symposium in Taiwan. This has been yet another unforgettable experience for me. We were finally able to present Vetstage for you guys and now it’s up and running, ready for all your group exchange offers. I hope you will find Vetstage very handy and that it will continue to grow. The potential is there, so let´s use it!

I am also trying to help DAD with choosing the most suitable candidates from the applications and hopefully I will be able to help out some more before the 65th IVSA Congress in Austria.

Speaking of Congress – there is an event taking place in Brno right before the Congress. Hopefully you have heard of it, either at the Symposium or found out about it on IVSA‘s Facebook page. Yes it´s the TNT-event, developing future leaders, and I am more then happy to cooperate with Emma van Rooijen in this project. The application period has ended and we are now entering our last phase of preparations. So for those of you who applied… Stay tuned!

I am still trying to help out with projects of the Working Group on Policy Statements and Position Papers. I joined mainly to help out with creating a manual that they needed. And now since the manual is done – I am trying to focus more on my other duties.

I mentioned the last time about the amazing Cro-Slo-Aus-Czech experience in Slovenia. Now I have to say how thrilling the fact is, that we are hosting these countries for another weekend of this traditional exchange in Brno at the end of April. Can´t wait!

In general, everything is keeping me busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I would never need to think twice about taking IVSA tasks and devoting so much time and effort into it. These once in a lifetime opportunities and experiences that IVSA offer are such a unique treat that no one should miss out on them. I know for a fact that whenever I travel to any country or city where there is IVSA – I will have friends I can write to, hang out with and that can help me out. And this, for me, is the true life-lasting spirit of our IVSA family.
