This Collaborative Care webinar will explore the role of nutrition for dermatology cases commonly seen in clinical practice. The speakers will emphasize the importance of obtaining a thorough diet history, even when adverse food reactions are not on the differential diagnosis list, and provide guidance for evaluating the pet’s current diet and recognizing opportunities to improve nutrition to optimize clinical results. They will also provide tips for effective communication regarding diet recommendations, whether it involves switching to a therapeutic diet, a different commercial diet, or a need for an elimination diet trial.
